COVID-19 Update from Copper Moon Coffee

To Our Valued Customers,

As our communities continue to feel the increased impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19), we feel it is important to share with you what we are doing to help keep people safe and healthy. Please be assured we have protocols in place and are working with the CDC and local public health officials.

In accordance with Governor Holcomb’s recent announcement to close all restaurants for in-person dining, Copper Moon Coffee’s flagship Café in Lafayette will be drive-thru or delivery only with hours of 7am-6pm until further notice. In addition, our West Lafayette location in the Burton D. Morgan building on the Purdue University campus will be closed until further notice. These changes will all be effective starting Tuesday, March 17.

As part of our protocols, our cafes and roastery have heightened cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a healthy environment for our Guests and Team Members. All Copper Moon Coffee facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily as part of our normal course of business. We are vigilant in maintaining high sanitation standards and have trained our staff in best practices, as recommended by the FDA, CDC, and OSHA. As the coronavirus started spreading, we’ve increased the regularity and degree of those cleanings. We’re also ensuring our employees have the information and support they need to stay healthy or stay home if they aren’t feeling well. All of these practices and our business decisions are being informed by guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), along with guidance from other local and U.S. government and public health agencies.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we navigate this challenging situation one day at a time and determine how best to continue serving our communities while maintaining our focus where it belongs: on our Valued Guests and Team Members.

Sincerely,

The Copper Moon Coffee Team
